ISSUES

Residents, businesses, and City Hall must work together to preserve our strong sense of history, retain and attract talent, grow our businesses, protect our natural environment, prioritize public safety, encourage healthy, active lifestyles and improve our neighborhoods. There have been great improvements in our city over the last few years and building on this momentum, I believe greater things are yet to come.

Protecting our Neighborhoods and Businesses

The number one priority of any local elected official is making sure our community is a safe place where we can raise our families, start a business, and feel safe walking the streets.  There is no greater obligation and as your next Mayor, I will work with our brave first responders and law enforcement to ensure they have the tools they need to keep us safe.

Streamlining City Hall to Unleash our Entrepreneurs

The backbone of our city is the strength of our local businesses and entrepreneurs.  As Mayor, one of my top priorities will be to have City Hall be a partner with our businesses, not a hindrance.   City Hall should be there to assist businesses and unleash the true potential of our entrepreneurs.

Improving Pensacola’s Infrastructure

Few issues are as critical to the economic well-being of our city than having an infrastructure system that helps move goods to the market and easily gets residents and tourists from Point A to Point B without a hassle or traffic congestion.  We must look to the future and start building and upgrading our roads and traffic systems today for the anticipated growth of tomorrow.  We must also build walkable/bikeable paths to help residents have more options to get around our city and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.  These infrastructure challenges, if met head on, will help Pensacola become a premiere location for job creators.
